This project started very organically, an idea led to a conversation and the whole thing took a life of it’s own. It did not make sense to create a non-profit organization, because I wanted the project to have a beginning and an end. An opportunity for artists to come together and help refugees and immigrants. So when Big Medium reached out and offered to partner with us, making it possible for this project to become a reality, we could not be anything but thrilled. As a 501 c3 non-profit arts organization, they do so many amazing things for the Austin, or shall we say Texas Artists community. So being an official Big Medium Sponsored Project, it’s a great honor. Not only they add credibility to the project, but our partnership also makes all of the donations fully tax-deductible to the extent of the law. Take time to learn more about them.
